Little Women was not nearly as good as I remembered it, but at least it had a happy ending wherein everyone sat together and each said she was sooo happy. It was quite the preachy novel, and, like a fable, some character or perhaps even the narrator explained the moral of each chapter at the end of the same. I found it much more interesting when they were all getting married than when they were children, but towards the end was when I misplaced my book and was none too disappointed at the thought of not finishing the last few chapters. I found the book again, and I did finish the last few chapters, and…well…I was glad for the happy ending.
